Blackpool Illuminations
A complimentary light show that covers nearly 6 miles of scenery, the Blackpool illuminations are one of the leading lighting displays in the country. Since the illuminated promenade has now been extended until the 3rd of January for the first time in its history, you’ll have more flexibility when it comes to enjoying a seaside getaway.
On every night in October, there will be light shows projected on the Tower. Take some fun selfies with the illuminated beach balls at the Tower Headland, walk the spiral light tunnel, and enjoy the light show on the Tower building.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Head down to the Pleasure Beach this October to witness the Late Night Rides. Running from the 23rd to the 30th October, the Late Night Rides are your night ticket to spooky spectacle. Including live entertainment, this theme offers families Halloween TV shows and movies every weekend of the duration, and prepare to be scared by the roaming Werewolf!
When you may need an early fix, venture to the Pleasure Beach after closing hours for Journey To Hell Freak Nights, an immersive, multisensory journey among scare spaces.
With Halloween coming up, Blackpool Pleasure Beach is hosting a haunted ride area as well as live entertainment from the 8th up until the very last day of the month.
The Mystique of Carnival Magic
A spectacular carnival show is being presented at Tower Ballroom for free.
Carnival performers, including dancers in giant dresses illuminated with LEDs and percussionists in carnival attire, will take the spotlight in conjunction with impressive neon puppets. They will embark on a voyage into a mystical world after dark as they depict colossal luminescent creatures. People gather, preparing the venue for the other-worldly ritual. The means of expression are songs, shadow puppets, and recitations. They recount stories of forgotten homes, dangerous escapes, and reflective reflections on optimism before travelling into their vivid and disturbing fantasies.

The Tram Tours
Perfect for couples, The Golden Mile and the promenade are a captivating journey through moving history as you pass the Blackpool Tower, central and north piers and breathtaking artwork on these seasonal trams.
